Very unusual piece with much of the variscite altering from green to yellow

Dimensions at widest points approximately 150 mm x 110 mm x 50 mm thick

Dimensions at widest points approximately 220 mm x 115 mm x 10 mm thick

( Almost no pyrite in this piece)  It was collected many years ago from a large open cut gold mine at Reedys near Cue in Western Australia

Prase rough PRR114 #brecciated pink opal Very unusual piece with muchPRR 114. Dimensions at widest points approximately 130 mm x 95 mm x 70 mm thick. Weighs 1,492 grams. Prase is a chrome rich chert. The green colour usually derives from minor mineral content, most commonly the green chromiferous muscovite mica, fuchsite. There are numerous Prase deposits in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
