This summer uniform tunic and garrison cover belonged to a Lieutenant who served with the 227th Jger Regiment of the 100th Jger Division. Unfortunately there isnt a name attributed to this uniform. The main purpose of the German Jger Divisions was to fight in adverse terrain where smaller, coordinated formations were more facilely combat capable than the brute force offered by their standard infantry counterparts.
