In 1865 the distillery was sold to John Grant, whose descendants later renovated the distillery and still own it today. Glenfarclas is known for its single malts, which mature entirely in former sherry casks. Hardly any other Scottish distillery has such an extensive range of different bottlings. Glenfarclas Family
