The Italian Type 35 (Tipo T 35) was the standard territorial and military gas mask of the REI (Regio Esercito Italiano Royal Italian Army) from 1935 until the adoption of the M59. This mask was widely issued from 1935 until the early '60s to soldiers, civil protection, firefighters and industries. This example is from the Pre WWII period, and has a manual dated 1939, and a filter dated from the same year. It looks to
