While interned in the various types of camps during WWII, prisoners often found themselves needing something to pass the time. Many POWs would turn to artwork and other related activities such as producing items that would have been useful, like a cigarette case for example. Prisoners would often make items such as this to use as barter items or even sold them to Prison Guards. The cigarette case does appear to be a
